Kathmandu. Kathmandu Metropolitan City Chief Balendra Shah (Balen), Deputy Chief Sunita Dangol, Chief Administrative Officer Loknath Poudyal and officials have monitored the heritage and infrastructure sector today. They reached Dharmachakra Park and Paleswan Pukhu in Swayambhu for monitoring along with officials at 9 am. "We have mainly looked at the strength of the infrastructure structure and whether it is environmentally friendly or not."
Deputy Chief Dangol while giving information about the monitoring said, 'We will try together to improve the weaknesses seen during the monitoring.' During the monitoring, Ward 15 Chairman Ishwarman Dangol informed about Paleswan Pukhu and Dharmachakra Park. While constructing parks and ponds in the ward, attention will also be paid to the management aspect, said the ward president Dangol. Former Ward President Bishwambharlal Pradhan informed about the current situation and the remaining work on the reconstruction of Bhagwan Baaash in Ward 26. According to him, the first phase of the reconstruction has been completed at a cost of around 40 million. Out of which, 1 million 50 million rupees is the support of Kathmandu Metropolitan City. The rest of the money is being spent on construction from internal sources. The second phase is estimated to cost 3.5 million. In which the temple of Simhasartha Bahu and the courtyard temple will be renovated. During the monitoring, the construction style and the current condition of the renovated Tamowha: Kapa: Pa Chhen in Ward 27 Mahabu (Mahabuddha) were observed. After reaching the third floor of Kwa: Pa Chhe, Chief Shah inquired about the technical aspect adopted while planning the reconstruction. During the observation of Panchedhara and park construction in Ward No. 5, the possibility of water flow in the stream was observed. Chief Shah talked to the locals who came at that time about the past of the stream and about the possibility of water flow with the technicians.
