The 5th meeting of the Municipal Assembly was completed by passing the amendment proposal of the Revenue Act

Kathmandu. The proposal to amend the Kathmandu Metropolitan Revenue Act 2075 submitted to the City Assembly has been passed. Today, the 5th meeting of the 11th session of the city council held under the chairmanship of Balendra Shah (Balen), the head of the metropolis, passed the amendment proposal. City council members Santosh Dhungel, Anilbabu Shrestha and Asha Shrestha expressed their views on the proposal. A detailed budget and program for the financial year 2079-080 has been presented in the assembly. Today's agenda included discussing and passing the Appropriation Bill 2079. Today's meeting has been adjourned to discuss the matter on June 24 after the detailed budget and program were presented in the assembly.
The assembly appointed Deepak Adhikari, director of the metropolis, as the election officer for the election of members of the judicial committee.
The fourth meeting of the session held on June 17 has already passed the financial bill with amendments.
The first meeting of the 11th session was held on June 5. In the meeting, Chief Shah presented the annual policy and program for the financial year 2079/080. This proposal was unanimously passed by the second meeting of the assembly held on June 7.
In the assembly meeting held on June 10, Deputy Chief Sunita Dangol presented an estimated budget of 25 billion 41 crore 96 lakh 96 thousand rupees for the financial year 2079/080. In the same meeting, the Chairman of the Assembly and the head of the metropolis, Shah, presented the financial bill and the deputy chief, Dangol, presented the appropriation bill.
Among the bills presented in this way, the fourth meeting held on June 17 has already passed the financial bill. The next meeting of the City Council will be held on Friday, June 24.
