There is an international relations secretariat under the chief for international relations and affairs of Kathmandu Metropolitan City. This Secretariat is continuously working to strengthen the relationship with the various international organizations that have formally established sisterly relations and are members of this Metropolitan Municipality and to increase international level relations. Similarly, this secretariat also conducts activities such as international level workshops, seminars, study tours, training and capacity development for the employees and residents of the metropolitan city, provides opportunities and takes initiatives to achieve opportunities.
