Kathmandu Durbar Square

Kathmandu Durbar Square, also known as Hanuman Dhoka, is one of the three royal palace squares in the Kathmandu Valley and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Located in the heart of the city, it showcases the magnificent Newari architecture, intricate wood carvings, and stone sculptures of the Malla and Shah dynasties. The square is home to the Living Goddess Kumari, the multi-roofed Taleju Temple, Kal Bhairav, and the ancient Hanuman Dhoka Palace.
